THE GOSPEL

Gospel = good news and it is the message about Christ, the kingdom of God, and salvation.

GOD RULES

The Bible tells us God created everything, including you, and He is in charge of everything. Is He in charge of your life? Genesis 1:1, Revelation 4:11; Colossians 1:16-17

WE SINNED

Since the time of Adam, the first man, everyone has chosen to disobey God. The Bible calls this sin. Because God is holy, our sins separate us from God and we have earned the punishment of death. Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

GOD PROVIDED

God sent His Son, Jesus, the perfect solution to our sin problem, to rescue us from the punishment that we all deserve. It is something we, as sinners, could never earn on our own. Jesus alone saves us. John 3: 16; Ephesians 2:8-9

JESUS GIVES

Jesus lived the perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Because Jesus took our punishment by giving his life for us, we can be welcomed into God’s family for eternity. This is the best gift ever! Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18

WE RESPOND

Everyone has a choice to make. Will you trust Jesus as your Lord and savior? You can turn from your sin and turn to JESUS by:

A-Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent and turn away from your sin.

B-Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and receive God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.

C-Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

WE PROCLAM

You show others you believe in Jesus by being baptized. It demonstrates Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Colossians 2:12
